I like that this pod has windows, so the interior isn't looking dark ~ I'm a firm believer in windows that allow me to see what's going on around me while camping in my '73 Bus ~ The pod looks like you'd be fine in a heavy rain storm & hail ~ Hope you have a great time in this ~ ! ~
a van is going to be a better use of space, but will never be as capable off-road as this truck for the price. if money was not a concern I would have a van, but this is my balling on a budget off-road vehicle. its very easy to take off the flatbed. just 4 bolts.
Rad. Curious to learn more about your load/unload plan/thoughts, more about your decision to not do anything over cab (aero/storage vs size/complexity, presumably), what it would look like / compatibility on a more traditional truck (in particular the side door), and also how much she $et you back..
pretty slick. agree on the cooking/shitting thing, I don't get that...
It never made sense to me
Cool truck! Bare bones livin!
keeping it simple
Proud of you Foster, from start to finish, the story is a compelling read. Looking forward to part 2, the build out tale.

I’ve had my eye on the Scout campers for a while but I love this! Looking forward to your updates.
This is some solid thinking.
Interesting article. How would you compare this to a van? In some respects the interior size is similar but custom is always more expensive.
Is it easy to remove from the flatbed? Cheers

Great stuff cheers Foster. You could leave it on a piece of land: insta-cabin.
its totally self contained. with solar and now wires connecting it to the truck. would be a great 4 season micro pod.
You’ll need to build a cradle / foundation at home to drop the Bison on when you need to use the truck for something else.

Very cool. I hope you post some follow ups, I would love to hear more about the full buildout!
I’ll be doing follow ups
Please do a follow up after the additions are made.
I’ll be doing follow ups for sure
How cool. We are getting a pop up, despite my thoughts of "that's a really expensive tent."
